Nominations Now Open for the 2026 Special Recognition Awards
NEBDN is pleased to announce that nominations for the 2026 Special Recognition Awards (SRAs) are now open.
The SRAs recognise individuals and groups who have made a meaningful contribution to the development of Dental Nursing and to Dental Nurse education and training. These awards celebrate dedication, professionalism, and the positive impact made across the profession.
Nominations are invited across three categories:

Individual Contribution Nomination – recognising an individual who has gone above and beyond to support Dental Nursing, Learners, or the wider profession.

Group Nomination – celebrating a team or organisation demonstrating excellence in Dental Nurse education and Learner support.

Learner of the Year – recognising an outstanding Learner who has shown professionalism, resilience, and compassion throughout their training.

The closing date for nominations is 27 February 2026.
