Georgi Allen

Georgi is a Public Health Practitioner working in local government, with a strong background in oral health education and dental nursing. As a qualified NEBDN Oral Health Educator, she has extensive experience supporting communities through targeted health education and the promotion of positive health outcomes. She cares deeply about helping children and families thrive, which is what led her from chairside dental nursing to a career in public health and oral health promotion.  She works with partners across communities to make oral health advice and support more accessible to those who need it most.  She leads a team to deliver supervised toothbrushing in schools, nurseries and preschools where decay prevalence is high, this is driven by her interest in oral health strategy, needs assessments, and population health improvement. Georgi is committed to promoting preventive approaches that help children establish healthy habits from an early age.
Georgi is passionate about enhancing the career pathway for dental nurses and will advocate for development opportunities for the profession.
