Am I allowed to take food or a drink into my examination?
It depends on the examination. As a general rule, candidates are allowed to take a bottle of water into written examinations. However, the regulations are different if you are taking your National Diploma OSCE or any post-registration practical/oral assessment as you are not allowed to take anything into the exam room. Should you have a medical condition which may require you to have food or drink available to you, please make an application for a Reasonable Adjustment (to your examination) at your earliest opportunity - refer to the Reasonable Adjustments policy under Policies & Forms
