QUALITY ASSURANCE

The purpose of Dental Care Professionals (DCP) education and training is to produce a DCP who has demonstrated on successful completion of an education or training programme, or examination, that he or she has met the outcomes required for registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) in the relevant DCP category.

Role of Course Providers:

          - To provide the theoretical knowledge required to undertake the final examination and

to support the student in acheiving the clinical experience necessary to complete the

             qualification.

Accreditation of Providers aims to:

         - Ensure all DCP's have attained the highest standards of training possible.

         - Make available high quality learning opportunities and experiences to all students to

enable them to achieve the highest standards.

NEBDN does not impose any restrictions on the number of training providers who wish to become accredited to offer NEBDN examinations.
